Kevin T. Block is a Member of Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC. Mr. Block specializes in business law, business transactions, real estate and secured financing. Mr. Block routinely represents clients in real estate, finance, lease and purchase and sale transactions, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, entity formation, commercial contracts and lien rights enforcement. Mr. Block also represents both commercial lenders and borrowers in credit transactions, including loan work-outs and distressed asset management.
Mr. Block is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is a member of the Business Law Section and the Real Property Section of the Michigan State Bar. Mr. Block co-authored the article “Towing the Line: An Analysis of Drag-Along Rights Under the Michigan Business Corporation Act”, which appeared in The Michigan Business Law Journal. He co-authored the article “Recent Amendments to the Michigan Mold Lien Act”, which likewise appeared in The Michigan Business Law Journal.
Mr. Block is a graduate, cum laude, of the Wayne State University Law School where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. Block is a graduate of Central Michigan University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Business Administration with a major in Finance.
