Michael D. Carroll is a Member of Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC and is a commercial litigator. Mr. Carroll has successfully managed automotive supplier cases at every tier, as well as non-automotive Uniform Commercial Code cases. Mr. Carroll has handled multiple employment and labor law matters. He also has expertise in shareholder oppression, products liability, commercial lease, and other real estate-oriented litigation, as well as creditor rights enforcement, including realization against collateral. One of Mr. Carroll's specialties is in the area of construction law. Mr. Carroll has extensive experience with the full spectrum of legal tasks associated with a construction project, from negotiating the contract to participating in dispute resolution proceedings, including litigation. He has represented a wide variety of clients in the construction area, including suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, owners, design professionals and sureties. Mr. Carroll is also proficient in the use of alternative dispute resolution methodologies, including mediation and arbitration. Mr. Carroll is a member of the Forum on the Construction Industry, a section of the American Bar Association. While an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, Mr. Carroll was the recipient of the Chick Evans Scholarship.
