Dwayne D. Stresman is an Associate with Kerr, Russell and Weber, PLC. practicing in various areas of intellectual property, information technology, antitrust, and business law. His litigation involvement includes trademark and copyright disputes, including those involving internet domain names. He also advises clients with respect to issues such as trade secrets, non-competition, and non-disclosure agreements. Mr. Stresman is also a part of the firm's international practice group, with an emphasis on U.S. / China business, where he advises clients on various issues. Having dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada, Mr. Stresman has experience in representing U.S. and Canadian businesses.
Mr. Stresman is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
Mr. Stresman is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he served as the Executive Notes Editor for the Michigan Technology and Telecommunications Law Review. Mr. Stresman is also a graduate of McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Distinction, in Economics. |
